Mikky|||Hello, Mikky

Did you find solution? I have the same problem :(

Andrius|||Is this the server machine? If not, have you tried to reinstall the .NET Framework on this machine? If so, does it also fail with http://machinename/reports instead of localhost?

Also, make sure you don't have any previous versions of Report Builder in the application cache. Although it should grab the new version, this has been a bit flaky at times.|||hello brian,

thanks for your response,

yes it is the server machine, acutally i am totally afraid to reinstall .NET framework 2.0 should i really try it? hmmm

how can i see if there is any (it should not, but...) previous version of report builder in the appliaction cache?

please let me know!

kind regards from austria

Mikky|||hey again brian,

i tried it now with http://machinename /reports instead of http://localhost/reports and hey THAT′s IT!!!

thanks but why the heck is it like that?

Report builder cannot be shown on other user login

Dear all specialists,

I am encountering a situation that the report buider feature cannot be shown on other user login. Would you guide me to solve this issue ?

Thanks for your help

Gary Ho

Gary,

For your user login, you will have to make sure that they have "Report Builder" under the "Edit Role Assignment". You will find this in your folder/properties area.

Hi Ham,

Thanks for your feedback and comments. The user profile under "Edit Role Assignment" already ticked the "Report Builder". Would you have any idea ?

Cheers,

Gary
