Report Deployment Problem

* Running SQL Server 2005 Enterprise on XP Pro *
After dealing with and solving some problems with the local ASPNET user and
it's rights to the report server config file and the database server I ran
into a report deployment problem:
I can preview the report in Developer Studio, but when I try to deploy it,
the operation ends with an error. The error indicates that the deployment
process is trying to use the guest IIS account to perform the operation...
Error 1 The permissions granted to user 'EDN-SCOTTT\IUSR_EDN-SCOTTT' are
insufficient for performing this operation. 0 0
1. Why is it trying to do a deployment using this account?
2. Where do I correct this problem by supplying the correct account
information?

ScottOn the report server, make sure that your Reportserver web site Anonymous
Access disabled, and Authentication Access set to Integrated WIndows
Authentication.
In Internet Explorer on your computer, put the Report server web site in
Trusted Sites, and turn on "Always prompt for username and password" under
the security settings.
Then make sure that your account is allowed to view and add reports to the
server, by going to the report server URL and try to log in and generally do
stuff. (If you get the Upload file-button, you should be allowed to add
reports.)
Try deploying the report again.

Report Builder button doesn't appear....

Hi,
I have the latest CTP installed. Users do not see the report builder button.
Only members of the local admin group seem to have it displayed. Can anyone
steer me in the right direction'
AllanI have run into a similar problem on my machine. The Report Builder button
never appears in my report manager home page.
I'm using Windows 2000 workstation with SQL Server 2005 (September)

problem. I have ensured that the users are in the Reporting services Content
Manager security group (and indeed every other group) but with no joy. Only
members of Windows Domain Admins group can see the button.
I guess I must be missing something ... ?

checked by default if you are upgrading to 05. If you are installing it brand
new, then it is checked by default.

Having the same issue, adding a user to the local admin group of the
SQLRS2K5 server has the Report Builder button appearing. Remove the user
from the local admin group, the button goes away.
Trying all other local groups for the user do not resolve the issue. Looking
also for a way to get this to work.

The solution is:
site settings -> Configure site-wide security -> New Role Assignment ->
add user to either 'System Admin' or 'System User'

Replication: Synchronization Status

In SQL 2005 when i expand the local publication , Under replication when i try to view Synchronization Status i see the below message.

The initial snapshot for publication '%Database' is not yet available.

can any one help me on this issue.

You can open the replication monitor, go under this publication, go to the other agents tab, and start snapshot.|||This is because initial snapshot for the publication has not been generated. So generate snapshot first.
