Report Builder Color Pallette

The default pallette of the report builder seems to the light blue-based colors. How do you change the default pallette to say be my company's colors? I would think that is would be an extremely common request as almost companies like reports to be branded with their companies colors.

Besides setting the default pallette when you say create a table or chart. The color picker for all color customization only seem to have a fixed set of colors (the system pallette). It does not seem to have any place to enter a custom color.

Also, on the chart options/chart type there is a pallette drop down but no way to edit/add pallettes

Has anyone else had color/pallette/branding issues with report builder?

You can change colors in an individual report, but changing colors schema in general (for all reports) is not currently supported.|||

1. I am not seeing a place in report builder where I can enter color values (RGB, hex, etc) does report builder not support color values in formating?

2. What about formating drill downs which seem to be autogenerated?

3. Where does the color formating come from for that?

4. Is the formating on drill downs in the RDL somewhere?

What about a custom rendering extension that replaces the colors with colors from say a configuration file?

Has anyone else had branding issues with reporting builder?

Entering custom colors is not supported in this release of Report Builder. However, you can create model-based reports using Report Designer, where any color may be specified. You can also configure these reports to be the templates used for Clickthrough reports. See this page for more info:
